Terms and Conditions
- The credits will be issued only when the referred student purchases a program with the duration equivalent to or longer than 3 months.
- The referrer is eligible for the award of one-month free lessons (or equivalent) plus a US$100 credit (toward purchasing our services) on the condition that the referred student does not cancel his/her program within the allowed cancellation period since signing up. The referrer’s reward subscription will be added to his/her account after the confirmation.
- The referred student is eligible for one-week free lessons on the condition that he/she does not cancel the contract after signing up for the service. The referred student's reward subscription will be added to his/her account after the confirmation.
- If the referrer is not a current student, we will contact him/her to set up a student ID. After a student ID is set up, the referrer may request to start the lessons. If he/she wants to transfer the lessons to another person, he/she needs to email the Student Service (studentservice@echineselearning.com) and tell us to whom he/she transfers the lessons.
- The referrer will be awarded for one-month free lessons based on his/her package frequency plus a US$100 credit (toward purchasing our services) if the referred student purchases a package with the duration equivalent to or longer than 3 months without cancellation within the first month since signing up. In the meanwhile, the referred student will get one-week free lessons based on his/her package frequency.
- The US$100 credit can be used by the referrer in renewing his/her subscription. The US$100 credit cannot be used to purchase upgrades, temporary leave of absence or other services such as fixed-time scheduling. The US$100 credit is not redeemable for cash. The referrer must use the credit within 2 years starting from the award date of the credit or before his or her current subscription expires (whichever comes later); after that, the credit shall expire.
- If the referred person "A" purchases 2 separate packages at the same time (e.g., one for herself and another for a family member "B"), the referrer will only get one month of free lessons plus US$100 credit. The referred person "A" will become a referrer herself (referring "B") in this situation, and will get one month of free lessons and US$100 credit.
- If the referred person "A" purchases 3 separate packages at the same time (e.g., one for herself, one for a family member "B," and another for a family member "C"), then the referrer will only get one month of free lessons plus US$100 credit. The referred person "A" will become a referrer herself (referring "B") in this situation, and will get one month of free lessons and US$100 credit. The family member "B" will also become a referrer (referring "C"), and will get one month of free lessons and US$100 credit.
- Same rules apply for the situations where the referred person purchases more than 3 separate packages at the same time.
- The US$100 credit can be transferred to another person who purchases an eChineseLearning program (first-time students only). When it is used, US$100 will be deducted from the total amount the person needs to pay.
- This offer is not valid with any other discounts or special offers.
- eChineseLearning reserves the right to change this offer without advance notice.
- eChineseLearning reserves the right for the final interpretation of this terms and conditions.
